Color in life is beautiful, inspiring and emotionally uplifting... whether viewing the peaceful and healing green expanse of a hillside vineyard or entering a bright & brilliantly stimulating room with walls of electric yellow, one can feel just how calming and dynamically energizing color effects can be to our soul.
When the Creator conceived and fashioned our amazing earthly home, it was through the instrumentality, power and majesty of the Creator's "thought" that all that currently is, or ever will be, came into material/physical being.
Our Creator's paintbrush was bathed in its own energy pulsations and creative thought. The Creator's cosmic mind-transmissions were divided into (7) wavelengths of sub-atomic particles known as "The Seven Rays". Each of the rays became one of the (7) colors of the rainbow. As these invisible rays permeated the earthly realm, all that is beautiful and good took physical form and began radiating the actual nature of the Creator. These colors or rays are known in Metaphysics as the Sevenfold Division of the Creator's Divine Will.
These (7) cosmic energies exist and are at work (non-stop) energizing and sustaining our bodies and minds on a daily basis. Their wavelength frequencies (which will flow through all of life until the end of time) actualize and energize (in and through) our names and (7) bodily energy centers (called Chakras).
By assigning the specific Ray Color (per the color charts below) to each of the letters of your name, you can see which colors and their reactive qualities are more prominent or absent from the energy of your being. If you have a goodly number of a certain color, then that psychic or personality trait is super-active in your nature. The same applies to having very few of a certain color... that trait or attribute would be less prominent in your personality or physical nature.
The same principle of color association applies to your (7) bodily energy induction centers called Chakras. Each center or Chakra uses just one of the (7) colors to perform its healing task. Each letter of the alphabet vibrates to a specific color. Each of the (26) letters emanate a particular color that can be seen and, believe it or not, even heard by certain psychic and clairvoyant individuals.
For example... the letter (C) vibrates the color red which is a low vibrational healing energy typified by the common infrared light appliance which we all know. It relates to the physical level of our existence.

URANUS IN RETROGRADE
(What it means for you)
The Planet URANUS went retrograde on July 1, 2009… it will remain in retrograde until December 1, 2009. Ok, so what does that mean… well it means that if you would check out Uranus via a telescope, to track its movement across the sky, it would appear to be moving backwards, even though it isn’t.
It’s an optical illusion, much the same as if you were looking out the window of your passenger train at the train moving along the other track. Your train (which is moving faster than the other) makes it appear that the other train is moving backwards. That’s known in astrology as the retrograde effect.
In a nutshell, this seemingly backward motion of URANUS will cause you to feel the need to rebel against people and situations, as well as the dictatorial and dogmatic life conditions that you’re tolerated and suppressed until now. You will demand the recognition, respect and rights that others have previously ignored or merely dismissed as insignificant. It supercharges your determination to express your individuality… to show your true self (who you really are) as you reactivate your need to succeed in life.
Before we discuss some of its other retrograding effects, let’s take a deeper look into its Divine Psychology. Uranus is known as the planet of enlightenment, change, and individuality. Uranus uses Nature’s electromagnetic energy (in the form of lightning bolts amid its thunder showers) to clear stagnant atmospheric congestion, and in our lives, to clear congestive life situations and stagnant states of thought.
Since Uranus is attuned to the Divine Plan of the Creator, it is focused on and concerned mainly in joining the personal mind of man and woman to the collective consciousness and the group mind. It operates in the higher dimensional Etheric Realms of higher spiritual intuition and within the physical body manages both our electrical nerve impulses and higher mind complexes. Much like Jimeny Cricket in his counseling and guiding capacity for Pinocchio.
When Uranus is retrograde, expect the unexpected. It’s mission during the retrograde is to disrupt your static life patterns and to invoke change so you can emerge as the true self you really are.
It goes without saying that the Planet Uranus has got to be the ultimate odd ball and most unpredictable (energetic) planet within our solar system… why? Well, because this Divine emissary totally enjoys and takes tremendous pleasure overthrowing outmoded concepts and useless modalities that perpetuate within our lives.
He wouldn’t hesitate a second to yank the rug out from under people, processes or outmoded establishment classicisms that no longer benefit or promote either individual or higher humanitarian purposes. This is a planet with a transpersonal focus… one on a mission to unite our humanhood and Eternal Divine Spiritual precepts into our Soul’s evolutionary journey. He will reward unselfish philanthropic motivations and actions, but will reprimand and penalize selfish efforts that seek solely to gain personal advantage at the expense of others.
Nothing pleases this innovative revolutionary more than to be considered and viewed as the great disrupter, reformer, truth advocate and avant-garde champion of needed change in all stagnant and decadent departments of our lives or the future of nations.
As mentioned above, this powerhouse moves and operates in our lives like a lightning bolt, striking suddenly and unexpectedly as he introduces and forces changes that require us to cope, adjust and modify our direction and habits, just to survive.
A trickster… yes, he is all of that and more. He’s like a phantom who appears suddenly out of left field or like Friday the 13th’s Jason who (in a flash) appears menacingly behind you. Uranus knows that if you continue (throughout life) suppressing the need for change, that these frustrations will manifest as sickness within the body. For that reason he knows that only by abruptly overturning your plans or health, will you be forced to take corrective and healing action. He is our friend, but at times appears to be our worst adversary and antagonist.
Did you know that every birth sign (Libra, Aries, etc.) has what is called a Ruling Planet? A ruling planet is like a mentor, guide or higher energy in charge of the characteristics and nature expressed within each birth sign. Libra is guided by the planet Venus; Virgo by Mercury and so on…
Uranus is the higher energy force ruling the activities of the Sign of Aquarius. As its guide and main force field influence, Uranus strongly influences the personality and tendencies of Aquarius… in other words, both the Sign of Aquarius and Uranus act like twins in the execution of their astrological roles.
My reason for mentioning this is… to show you just how the Retrograde Uranus energies can affect and influence folks born under the Sign of Aquarius. Principally, the example that is most prominent these days is the conduct and the actions of one SARAH PALLIN, born as an Aquarian on February 11, 1964.
Sarah is a classical example of the reactionary patterns that can be prompted and evoked by this very potent URANUS RETROGRADE. As a matter of fact she wasted no time when on July 2, (just 1 day after Uranus turned Retro) she demonstrated these totally surprising, firebrand, revisionist and off the wall Uranian impulses.
Both The Sign of Aquarius and its Ruling Planet Uranus are unable to tolerate (as they view them) critical, oppressive and inappropriate conditions and actions on the part of others. They will rebel and institute measures to either change or topple these obstructionist influences or extract themselves from the situation altogether. Sarah followed this Uranian urge to a “T” as we all witnessed with great surprise.
In her mind she was justified in vacating her responsibilities as Governor, since the adverse personal and political conditions infecting this elected office were flawed and irredeemable. In typical Uranian fashion she chose to protect her independence and reputation as a fighter against corruption, so she could rise (like the Phoenix) at another time on an unannounced playing field. In her mind she hasn’t lost the war, but is just retreating to regroup for a fresh attack under reinforced conditions.
Interestingly, in her personal astrological birth chart, the Planet Uranus is moving retrograde through the (6th) house. Astrologically this means, personally for Sarah, that breaking free was the prevailing and appropriate urge or action called for at this time. The (6th) house deals with one’s occupation & humanitarian outreach. It deals with a need to be free and unencumbered so one can protect their reputation and to revolutionize their work style and approach to the fulfillment of their long range goals.

Jupiter Retrograde in Aquarius – Holding the Vision for our Future...
As you may know, Jupiter is known as the planet of luck, expansion, hope, grace, favor and fortune. It went retrograde on June 15, and won't go forward until October 13th. So since many of us are under the gun now, the pressure for us to transform our inner being and outer path will be unbelievable.
Traditionally, Jupiter brings wealth, success, abundance, and optimism. Jupiter is concerned with the expansion of our lives and the direction of our destiny to enable us to channel and manifest the greatest potential in our lives. However, when friendly Jupiter turns retrograde, it's like all of the things in our lives that were moving along successfully, do an about face and go the other direction. What we experience shouldn’t be considered bad luck, but rather a run of reversals that will enable us to reexamine and rethink our lifestyles, attitudes, commitments and choices.
Under this Jupiter Retrograde it will seem like everything attempted requires three times the normal effort. It’s not a good period to initiate, commit to or begin new ventures. This applies to financial investments as well as job changes. Rather, it’s a time to finish projects and an excellent opportunity to pay attention to relationships, as well as a time to gain a better perspective on life and your inner self. The major emphasis of a Jupiter retrograde period is on inner awareness and inner growth.
In a way, it has some beneficial features, since it’s a time to wind up affairs of the past so you can be free to move forward into the path that is truly one your Soul desires. That's perfect for many of us at this time.
It's a time to really do some inner work... to check yourself to be sure you’re not living a phony life or a false existence that in the end will benefit no one, especially yourself… try to move away from self-serving goals to become a whole person. It's interesting that during this time of reversal, if some wonderful opportunities arise, it will be the result of the seeds or ideas you planted in the past with people, organizations or movements. These wonderful beginnings will seem out of place within the definition of a retrograde, but they will be appearing at this time to open a gateway to the renewed self that should emerge as the result of the retrograde.
It's a time to rethink, replan, renew and commit to your true path. For some of you, it could be a time to reconstruct your plan of attack on how to market yourself. A Retrograde action is an astronomical phenomenon that seems to affect all sorts of earthly events in our lives… things like slowing our efforts to complete a project, sending communications, airplane or vehicular travel, appointments, traffic tie-ups and mail arrival and delivery into a black hole.
It acts like the most detestable prankster you'll ever want to know, since it causes electrical contrivances (like computers and printers) and satellite/Internet connections to breakdown or just go bonkers. Unfortunately, this Retrograde will be straining our patience until May 31, when it will finally decide to move forward in its natural orbit (releasing its seemingly magical hold on all things communicative.
Mercury usually performs this orbital course reversal and travels Retrograde three times a year, but this year it be visiting us four different times, which is most unusual.
During the Retrograde period, Mercury will not only be moving through the sign of Gemini, but also Taurus the sign that rules money and finance. Decisions about investments and the handling of important finances should be put off or delayed during the period.
Try to wait until after May 31, to finalize your finance and investment arrangements. During the Retrograde period it will be safe to negotiate and bargain with your constituents, but to make a final move or to sign a final binding agreement will likely be regretted later on.
Taurus rules land, real estate, trust agreements and building construction, so if you're considering the purchase of land or a home, by all means don’t finalize the transaction until after May 31. That goes for any sort of construction, repair, new installation or appliance purchases you intend for your home. Ventures or activities of that nature can hit a snag, so be patient and allow Mercury to resume its normal orbit on May 31.
Naturally, in life, we like to feel we are in charge of events and our own destiny. Well, we are, but there are times when we are better forewarned than to proceed headlong into a possible storm of resistance and opposition.
Mercury Retrograde is like an approaching storm. Just as a weatherman or woman is able to warn us of the possibility of a dangerous storm, so Astrology is able to warn us of some difficult twists, turns and tendencies that lie in the road ahead.
